Avoi Pronet at All Costs: Hidden Fees, Contract Traps, 3000 Exit Ransom

Thinking of signing up with this company? Don’t. A burglar would do less damage to your home than Pronet has done to my wallet and nerves. We signed up with Pronet on 17 July 2024. A field salesperson named Arzu Oda*** came to my workplace, explained the service, and we agreed on a price. Unfortunately, that was the smoothest part of the entire experience. Hidden fees and “trial” devices. On my second invoice, I noticed an unexpected price increase. When I called, they claimed the extra charge was for equipment they had installed “for trial purposes” and that the first month was “free.” At no point had anyone mentioned a trial or extra devices. I also learned—only after signing—that my installation was considered a “transfer system,” so they were billing me under the terms accepted by the previous user. Endless billing headaches. Even after I finally managed to cancel that “trial” with great effort, they still charged the same fee on my third invoice. Tired of fighting, I paid everything in one lump sum to avoid more surprise charges. A contract that won’t die. We waited 10 months for the contract to expire so we could escape. During the final month, I repeatedly told them I was moving and demanded they come and uninstall the system. Instead, they called me every day for 16 days, but only to pitch new pricing—never to schedule the cancellation. The final insult. On 23 July 2025, they called again. I firmly said, “Only call me about removal; I’m not interested in new offers.” Their reply: “Fine—then you’ll pay a 3,000 ₺ removal fee. I’ll send someone.” The mocking tone was the last straw, and I hung up. Bottom line: Stay far away from Pronet. A thief would cost you less, and you’ll get no meaningful resolution from this company.
