Promova Took Money Mid-Trial Without Showing Price or Payment Plan
After seeing ads for the Promova language app on Instagram, I downloaded the app to try it. The free trial period is normally one week, but before the first week was even completed, $95 was charged directly to the credit card that was automatically saved on my phone, without my consent, without any payment plan, and without clearly stating the amount.
I did not give my consent. Neither the payment amount nor a payment plan was disclosed in advance, and this is not an app I can benefit from.
