Popeyes Order Canceled Due to Missing Bread

They ran out of bread, so I had to cancel my order from Popeyes. I learned about it from the delivery driver, not from the company. Popeyes did not even bother to call or let me know about this problem, which is a shame. It took them one business day to tell me my money would be back after I called their customer service. How could a fast food place run out of bread? If they couldn't serve their whole menu, why were they even open? What a frustrating experience, especially since this information wasn't easy to find on their website. It really bothers me that Popeyes doesn't communicate or get ready for something as basic as bread.
