Pierre Cardin Refused to Exchange My Deformed Shirt and Blamed Me for the Damage
We bought a shirt from Pierre Cardin on 25/07/2024. Since the shirt became deformed, we returned it to the store and requested an exchange. They told us they would send it for review and make a decision based on the response. The response from the central office was that the deformation was a user error caused by the fabric coming into contact with a surface, and therefore, they said they couldn't do anything about it. For a shirt that has never been worn to be deemed defective and then the customer blamed for poor inspection. This is unbelievable for a company of this stature! It’s hard to understand how such a thing happens at a reputable brand like Pierre Cardin.
We had filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. As a result of the expert examination, we were found to be in the right. They will replace the product.
