Photogrid Free Trial Turned To Be Unathorized Subscription
I am writing regarding an unauthorized VIP subscription charge by the Photogrid mobile app on my iPhone. On 25 March 2026 at around 11:14 p.m. (Malaysia time), I clicked on what was presented as a free trial in the app. Without any clear additional confirmation from me, the app automatically subscribed me to the VIP plan and charged RM149.90 to my CelcomDigi phone bill. I did not give any explicit approval for this transaction and only realized afterwards that the amount had already been added to my phone bill. I immediately cancelled the subscription through my account, but the charge remains visible and processed on my CelcomDigi bill. This situation feels deceptive and makes me feel that I have been misled by the way the free trial and subscription were presented. I have already emailed Photogrid support about this issue and I am currently waiting for a response. I request a full refund of the RM149.90 that was charged via my CelcomDigi bill and confirmation that my account is no longer subscribed to any VIP plan or recurring payments. I kindly ask that this matter be resolved as soon as possible.
