Awful Quality Control and Support for the Philips 58PUS8507 TV

On November 17, 2022, in Antalya, Kepez district, within Özdilek Shopping Mall, I purchased a Philips 58PUS8507 television for 15,500 TL with a 15-month credit plan from the Teknosa store. Initially, the TV worked beautifully, but after about 3 to 4 months, horizontal and vertical lines appeared on the screen. To ensure it wasn't our fault, we even bought a screen protector for 1,400 TL. We called Teknosa's initial installation service, and they confirmed that the TV was faulty and took it away. When our newly purchased TV failed shortly after, we requested a replacement, but unfortunately, it was not granted. The technician who repaired the TV mentioned that the screen had been completely replaced, making us believe that the TV had been reset. We continued to use the TV, but in August 2023, it malfunctioned again with screen issues. This time, when turned on, half of the screen would go black initially but then return to normal after a while. The Antalya service center, Can Teknik, took the TV on August 20, and we once again requested a replacement. They claimed it was a repairable issue and that it would be fixed. Today, on September 13, there is still no information about the TV, and when I contact the service, they say they have no updates from the headquarters. They advised me to call customer service, but when I did, they told me to contact the service. Philips seems to obstruct communication with their headquarters and provides no contact information. Philips refuses to replace the TV, and with 10 months of credit payments remaining, we are stuck using a TV that has been in service for 1.5 months out of 10. They won't offer a replacement, and when the warranty expires, they will likely demand a significant amount of money for repairs on a product that has malfunctioned every 3 months. I demand that Philips either replace my product or offer a refund. I do not accept a repair for this product. I'm seeking support on this matter. I want to emphasize to everyone, that do not bring Philips products into your home. They have a defective product, terrible customer service, an awful service center, and an uncooperative headquarters. They do not approach your problem with a solution-oriented mindset. Customer satisfaction is not their priority. You cannot find anyone to address your concerns, and the conversations usually end with empty empathy phrases. We contacted Teknosa, but they claimed they couldn't do anything as they merely sold the product. Less than a year into ownership, the product failed twice, and one month later, there's still no one taking responsibility at the service center. I will never allow a Philips product into my home again.
