My Philips XC 8057 Cordless Vacuum Head Broke Easily

I bought the Philips XC 8057 cordless vacuum with the expectation that I was investing in a quality product, but a small issue has turned into a major hassle. The latch of the top cover on the vacuum head broke, and even though the device is still under warranty and the vacuum still functions—including the LED light and suction—I was told by both the service center and Philips support that the entire head must be replaced. They are asking for ₺2250, which I find unreasonable for such a minor issue. I only struggle with steering while vacuuming—everything else works fine. It's frustrating to see that a small plastic part cannot be replaced individually. If you're considering buying this model, I strongly recommend looking into the availability of spare parts beforehand.

Philips said that the head is considered an accessory and is not covered by the warranty, and the broken part is not produced separately. Then it's not clear how the product passed R&D and was put on the market. I say I want to buy just the head, my turbo brush is fine, I don't want that, so the service should price it accordingly, but no, they insist on selling the complete head, but don't forget it's an accessory. Then let me buy the accessory I want, but no, it has to be the complete head, but it's an accessory... Think twice before buying a Philips vacuum cleaner, spare part supply is problematic and they don't stand behind the vacuum cleaner they produce themselves. Once again, as shown by the number of complaints, they have proven their standard customer dissatisfaction.
