Peugeot IVI and Apple CarPlay Problems Remain Unfixed After Repairs

February 9 1:28 AM38

I would like to add the following details. My first service visit was on September 30, 2025, at 9:40 a.m. (service document no. 10930020). Coding was performed on both the right and left windows, but the issue was not resolved. I was told that the IVI software could not be updated due to a system-related problem. At the same time, there was a Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay disconnection and failure-to-connect issue; I was told it had been fixed, but it is still ongoing and remains unresolved. These procedures were carried out during my 15,000 km maintenance visit, and the issues had existed even before that, although I do not recall the earlier details. On October 2, 2025, at 9:52 a.m. (document no. 11002022), I was told again that the IVI software could not be updated due to server-related issues, and both my CarPlay disconnection problem and window-closing issue continued; my problem could not be resolved that day. On October 22, 2025, at 9:37 a.m. (document no. 11022015), window coding was performed again, the screen software was updated, and because some buttons on the steering wheel were not working, a steering wheel replacement request was created and later completed under warranty. However, my screen and Bluetooth/CarPlay issues still continued. On January 29, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. (document no. 10129025), I experienced the most serious problem: the car would not start, the screens would not turn off, and even though the vehicle was locked, the battery was completely drained. I requested roadside assistance from the service center, but they initially asked for a towing fee, which I rightfully refused. They later said they could send assistance for free, but in the meantime, I took the vehicle to Bursa Baykar Automotive, where it remained until January 30, 2026. The vehicle was inspected, the battery was charged for 14 hours, battery fluid was topped up, and all coding was performed; I was told the issue had been resolved, but it was not. On January 8, 2026, I experienced an even more serious issue: the vehicle displayed multiple warnings, including low battery power, ESP/ABS failure, engine malfunction, and electronic traction control failure. I began receiving messages stating, “Turn off the vehicle, stop, and go to the nearest service center.” Due to these ongoing malfunctions and electronic issues, I am requesting from Peugeot Turkey and the relevant dealership either a full refund of my vehicle based on its current value or a replacement with a brand-new, equivalent, and fault-free vehicle. Because I have been forced to visit the service center repeatedly, face the risk of being stranded on the road, and deal with constant battery jump-starts, I demand that my grievance be resolved urgently, that my vehicle be thoroughly inspected and a permanent solution be provided, and that my situation be formally acknowledged.
