Personality.co Fraudulent Reoccurring Charges

88

I agreed to pay $1.95 to Personality.co for what was advertised as a free personality test. At no point did I knowingly agree to a recurring subscription or monthly membership. After reviewing my bank statements, I discovered that I have been charged $29.95 every month from August 1st to March 30th on my credit card, which I did not authorize or knowingly consent to. When I contacted Personality.co, they informed me that by paying the $1.95, I had supposedly agreed to a 7‑day trial that would convert into a $29.95 monthly subscription if not cancelled. This was not made clear to me at the time of purchase, and I found this practice deceptive and misleading. As a result of these hidden terms, I was charged for several months without my knowledge. So far, Personality.co has only refunded one payment of $29.95, while there are still eight remaining $29.95 charges that have not been refunded, totaling $239.60. I signed up using the email address kwtor**@gmail.com, and all of these payments were taken from my credit card. I request a full refund of the remaining $239.60 for the unauthorized $29.95 subscription charges back to August 8th and confirmation that any related subscription has been fully cancelled so that no further charges will be taken from my account.
