Yourselfirst Charged $39.95 After Advertising Free MBTI Test

On February 8, 2026, at 10:55 a.m., I took an MBTI personality test on the website www.yourselfirst.com using Google Chrome. The test was clearly advertised as a free MBTI test, and there was no clear or understandable disclosure that I would be charged for anything beyond a small trial fee. After completing the test, my credit card was charged $1.95 for a “Premium Personalized Report.”
The main issue is that, in addition to this initial $1.95 trial charge, the company charged my credit card again today in the amount of $39.95 without my clear consent and without my explicit knowledge of any recurring subscription or paid plan. I did not knowingly agree to any subscription or recurring payment, and at no point was a $39.95 charge clearly presented or highlighted as something I would be billed for.
I consider this to be a misleading business practice, as I believed I was taking a free test and was not properly informed about any ongoing paid subscription. I request that Yourselfirst immediately cancel any subscription or recurring plan associated with my account and credit card and issue a full refund of both charges—the $1.95 trial fee and the $39.95 charge. I also request written confirmation that no further charges will be made to my card and that my personal and payment information will not be used for any future payments without my explicit and informed consent.
