Pegasus Overbooked My Flight and Denied Boarding – Compensation Ignored
I was supposed to fly with my family on a Pegasus Airlines flight from Cologne to Sabiha Gökçen, but when we arrived at the airport, we were denied boarding due to overbooking. Despite having confirmed tickets, Pegasus staff and AHS representatives in Cologne refused to let us board, claiming the flight was full.
According to aviation regulations, since they couldn’t arrange an alternative flight within 3 hours, we were entitled to €400 per person in compensation. The Pegasus team at the airport confirmed this, yet they have since ignored all my emails and inquiries (Ticket ID: 11923343).
This is a clear violation of passenger rights, and Pegasus is deliberately avoiding its legal obligation. I demand the compensation I am legally entitled to. If this is not resolved, I will escalate the matter to aviation authorities. Pegasus must take responsibility and respect passenger rights!
