Pegasus Airlines Cancelation Chaos! Lost Parking & Extra Costs Due to Changed Flight
In November, I purchased a roundtrip ticket from Frankfurt to Turkey with Pegasus for the period between March 1st and March 6th, 2024. My wife and I live abroad, and since we reside 2.5 hours away from Frankfurt, we arranged our parking reservation based on the Pegasus departure and landing times at Frankfurt airport. However, Pegasus unexpectedly canceled the return flight (a direct flight from Izmir to Frankfurt) without providing any reason. Instead, they changed the ticket to a route from Izmir to SAW to Frankfurt on the same day. Despite the inconvenience of the connecting flight, we accepted the change. However, as our landing in Frankfurt would now be 2.5 hours later, my parking reservation became invalid. I lost the 107EUR I paid for the parking reservation, and on top of that, I had to incur an additional cost of 147EUR for re-booking. I reached out to Pegasus twice via email, opening a case with file number 09983336, but received only pre-prepared responses to both inquiries. It's perplexing why customers should bear the additional or lost parking costs due to operational changes. I demand that this issue be addressed and resolved promptly.
