I Face Obilet Refusing to Process Pegasus Ticket Tax Refund
I purchased a Pegasus Airlines ticket through Obilet for a flight on April 10 at 7:25 PM, with PNR code 1V86K9, for a total of $51. After missing the flight, I called Obilet customer service to request a tax refund for my ticket.
During the call, the representative told me they were experiencing a system error and could not process my request, and therefore I needed to contact Pegasus directly for the refund. However, despite choosing to purchase my ticket specifically through Obilet instead of directly from the airline, I was told to handle the issue myself. Being redirected like this on such a basic matter and having the responsibility completely shifted onto me has caused significant frustration.
If I am expected to deal directly with the airline in every situation, I do not understand why I am paying a commission to Obilet or what service I am actually receiving. I expect Obilet to handle this process with Pegasus on my behalf and ensure that the applicable tax refund is processed and returned to me.
I purchased a Pegasus flight ticket worth ₺1,666.99 through Obilet. I contacted Obilet for a tax refund, but the transaction could not be processed due to a system error, and I was told to contact Pegasus. So far, I have made no progress and have not received any response from the brand.
