Don't Trust Pegasus Airlines For Your Plans!
I purchased my Pegasus Airlines tickets in advance in September for the 16 January Van–Sabiha Gökçen and 31 January Sabiha Gökçen–Van flights in order to avoid price increases as the travel dates approached. However, approximately 17 days before the flight, my 16 January Van–Sabiha Gökçen flight (PNR: 17A95K) was first completely canceled and then rescheduled as a connecting flight with a different departure time. In addition, the departure time of my 31 January Sabiha Gökçen–Van return flight (PNR: 17AAB1) was moved forward by approximately three hours. Due to these last-minute changes, all of my travel plans were disrupted and I was forced to purchase new tickets from another airline at significantly higher prices. Although I had planned to save money by purchasing early, Pegasus’s practices ultimately caused me to pay an additional ₺2,500 on top of the refunded amount. Pegasus only canceled the tickets and refunded the money, and no compensation, voucher, or advantageous alternative rebooking option was offered during my call with customer service. The fact that these consecutive changes were made so close to the travel dates gives the impression of a deliberate policy that pushes passengers toward much more expensive tickets, and as a result I have completely lost my trust in Pegasus. From now on, I have decided to choose AnadoluJet instead of Pegasus for my travels. I request a clear and detailed explanation from Pegasus regarding the cancellation and schedule changes, as well as a sincere apology for the disruption and financial loss I experienced. In addition, I expect the company to review these practices so that passengers who plan and purchase their tickets in advance are not subjected to similar grievances in the future.
