I signed up for PDF Smart thinking it was just a simple $1 trial for one week. The site made it look like a low-cost test, but once the trial period ended, I was shocked to see a $34 monthly charge on my account. This detail was only written in very small print at the bottom of the page and only in English, which feels misleading.
On top of that, even during the $1 trial, the service did not actually work as promised. The file conversion I attempted froze at 10% and never completed, meaning I paid for something that didn’t even deliver results. When I realized what happened, I immediately looked for a way to cancel and found the unsubscribe section. After following all the steps and confirming by email, I finally managed to cancel my account.
This kind of hidden billing practice is unacceptable, especially when the service itself fails to work properly. I demand that PDF Smart refund the $34 that was charged without my clear consent and ensure no further unauthorized deductions are made. Companies must be transparent with their pricing and provide services that function as advertised.
