Pdfe.com Free Trial Auto-Renewal And Unauthorized Charge Complaint
I signed up for a 7-day free trial on a service called “PDF Editor” by Pdfe.com. There was no clear, visible, or explicit information stating that a subscription would automatically renew. I received no reminder email before the end of the trial, no confirmation message, and no notification of any kind. After the trial ended, the site renewed a paid subscription of €49 without my explicit consent. On top of that, it is impossible to cancel: there is no accessible option in the account, no subscription management page, and customer support never responds. This complete lack of transparency, the absence of information, the inability to cancel, and the automatic billing constitute a misleading practice and violate legal obligations (articles L121-2 and L215-1 of the Consumer Code). I am requesting the immediate cancellation of the subscription, a full refund of the charge applied, and the immediate stop of any future withdrawals. I am filing this complaint so my issue can be resolved and to prevent other consumers from falling into this misleading setup.
