On October 23, 2025, I visited pdfe.com solely to download a single PDF file. The site displayed the word “free” everywhere, and I do not even remember entering my credit card information. Despite this, on the same day—October 23, 2025—a charge of $56 was made to my card without my permission or approval. Without realizing it at the time, a second unauthorized charge of $56 was made again on November 23, 2025. I only discovered these charges after carefully reviewing my credit card statement.
On my İş Bankası Maximum credit card statement, the transaction appears as “Pdfe.com 3746004 Sant Cugat De es.” I never knowingly started a membership on this website, nor did I approve any subscription agreement. I did not receive any informational emails, and there is no record of any account or membership related to this site in my email inbox. This involves money being taken from my credit card without my knowledge or explicit consent, through what I consider a hidden and deceptive practice.
This situation clearly constitutes an unauthorized and unlawful charge. I demand the immediate and full refund of the total amount charged over the last two months, specifically the transactions made on October 23, 2025, and November 23, 2025. I also do not accept any future charges whatsoever to my card from pdfe.com or any related entity.
If this request is not fulfilled immediately and these unauthorized charges made under the name of a membership or subscription are not stopped, I will initiate a formal dispute and chargeback process through my bank. I will also apply to all relevant authorities, including the Consumer Arbitration Board and the public prosecutor’s office, and will pursue the legal process to its fullest extent through my attorney.
