Pdfe.com Processed a Hidden Charge After I Paid for a Single Service

I used the website Pdfe.com for what I believed was a one-time service and agreed to pay only approximately $1 using my VakıfBank debit card. Despite not giving any approval beyond this single payment, an unauthorized transaction of approximately $64 was processed from my account on 03/19/2026 at 3:22:59 PM without my knowledge or permission. I only noticed the charge through a notification from VakıfBank mobile banking, and I did not receive any SMS notification regarding the transaction.

Although I approved only a one-time payment of approximately $1, I consider the collection of approximately $64 without any additional information, consent, or contractual agreement to be completely unfair, unauthorized, and without approval.

As soon as I realized the situation, I contacted VakıfBank customer service. My card was canceled and replaced for security reasons. However, regarding the refund process, I was told that “you need to visit a branch; there is nothing we can do,” and so far no solution has been provided regarding this unauthorized transaction.

I demand that the approximately $64 withdrawn from my account without my permission be refunded to me immediately. I also request that both Pdfe.com and VakıfBank carry out the necessary investigations and security checks to ensure that similar unauthorized charges cannot happen again in the future.
