I Face Unauthorized ₺2200 Charge From Pdfe.com After Supposed Free Trial
On July 24, 2025, I accessed Pdfe.com to download a PDF document. The site advertised the service as “free,” but at the end of the process, I was asked to pay ₺45, which I accepted to complete the transaction. During this payment, I had to enter my card details into the system. Just a week later, on July 31, 2025, I discovered on my bank statement that ₺2200 was charged to my card without my consent.
At no point was I asked to approve a subscription, nor was I given any clear explanation about ongoing charges. This is an unauthorized transaction made without my explicit consent. I immediately emailed the company to dispute the charge, but my request was rejected. Worse, even the protocol they sent back did not include any information about such a high fee, proving how misleading this process is.
My demands are clear:
Immediate refund of all charges, especially the unauthorized ₺2200
Full cancellation of my account and any hidden subscription
Complete deletion of my personal and payment information
If these demands are not met promptly, I have already initiated a chargeback process through my bank and will escalate the matter to the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee and the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
Pdfe.com must take urgent action to resolve this issue. Charging customers secretly and withholding clear subscription terms is unacceptable, and I expect a swift resolution.
