On August 14, 2025, I used the Pdfe.com website for what was supposed to be a one-time PDF service. I agreed to a single payment only, yet shortly after, I noticed on my bank statement that ₺2200 had been withdrawn from my card ending in 3389 without my knowledge or consent. At no point was I informed of an automatic subscription, nor was I presented with any approval screen or clear billing terms.
I immediately contacted Pdfe.com by email to request a refund, but my request was denied. The protocol they sent me as a response did not even mention such a charge, which confirms that I never agreed to it. Aside from this denial email, I received no assistance, no detailed explanation, and no alternative resolution. This was the first time I encountered such an unauthorized withdrawal, and it left me feeling deceived and unprotected.
I now demand the following:
Immediate refund of the ₺2200 unauthorized charge
Full cancellation of my subscription and account
Permanent deletion of my personal data from their system
If Pdfe.com refuses to comply, I have already initiated a chargeback request through my bank and will report this case to the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee as well as the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net). Companies should not be allowed to mislead customers and take unauthorized payments. I expect Pdfe.com to act responsibly and resolve this issue without further delay.
