Unauthorized Charge After Single Payment On Pdfaid

I used the PDFAid service once via their website and on 23 June 2025 I paid only 0.95 euros for this one-time use. I did not knowingly subscribe to any recurring plan and I was not informed that any further payments would be taken. However, on 30 June 2025, 49.00 euros were withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or consent. The payment description appears as “Compra Sgt*thepdfaid, Limassol” on my Santander bank statement. After this first unauthorized charge, the same amount of 49 euros has been taken every month, with the latest charge on 27 July 2026. All these payments were made by credit card. In total, 735 euros have been withdrawn from my account in this way, and at no point did I receive any clear notice, subscription information, approval request or agreement that would justify these recurring charges. I consider these transactions unauthorized and unfair. I request the immediate and full refund of the total 735 euros that have been charged to me without my clear consent. After the refund is completed, I also ask that my PDFAid account linked to my email address be permanently closed and any subscription or automatic renewal associated with my card be cancelled, so that no further payments can be taken. I expect a prompt response and a rapid resolution of this matter; otherwise I will consider taking legal action against the company to protect my rights.
