I Want a Full Refund for Unauthorized Pdfaid Transactions
On February 23, 2026, I made a payment of approximately $1 through pdfaid.com solely to convert a single photo into a PDF file. At the exact moment I completed the transaction, two additional charges of approximately $1 each were also taken from my card without my approval, bringing the total amount charged to approximately $3. At that time, since the amounts were relatively small, I assumed I might have overlooked a detail during the payment process and did not immediately pursue the issue further.
However, on March 2, 2026, an additional charge of approximately $76 was withdrawn from my card through the same website without my knowledge or consent. I only made a one-time payment of approximately $1 for a simple service on this site. I did not save my card information and never approved any subscription or recurring membership. In fact, even if the site offers subscriptions, the annual fee displayed on the website appears to be approximately $300, meaning the charge made to my account was clearly not part of any openly explained or properly approved subscription or service agreement. I also have screenshots from my account and email inbox showing that there was no active subscription associated with my email address.
My card belongs to DenizBank. As soon as I noticed the unauthorized transaction, I contacted my bank, had my card canceled, and opened a dispute request regarding these unauthorized charges. Since the visible contact number for pdfaid.com belongs to an overseas line, I was unable to directly communicate with the company.
I request a full refund of all amounts charged beyond the original approximately $1 one-time service fee, especially the extra charges taken on February 23 and the approximately $76 transaction processed on March 2, 2026. The unauthorized use of my card information represents a serious issue both in terms of financial security and consumer rights, and I want my financial losses and inconvenience resolved immediately.
