Parimatch App Linked to Unauthorized ₹1,200 Bank Debit

I hold an account with Punjab National Bank, with the account number ending in 9441, which I use together with the Pari Match app.

On March 9, 2026, an amount of ₹1,200 was debited from my account by an unknown person without my knowledge or authorization. I discovered this unauthorized debit while checking my account, and I have no idea who received this money or what it was used for.

I am based in Kakching, Manipur, India, and this incident has caused serious concern about the security of my bank account.

So far, I have not contacted Punjab National Bank customer care or visited the branch, but I am now formally submitting this complaint so that the matter can be taken seriously and investigated.

I request that the bank and the relevant team urgently investigate this unauthorized transaction related to the Pari Match app, secure or block my account if necessary, determine how this debit occurred, and refund the ₹1,200 if the transaction is confirmed to be fraudulent.

I expect a prompt investigation, a written explanation of the findings, and guidance on how I can protect my account from similar incidents in the future.
