Hotel Canceled My Otelz Booking but No Refund

My hotel reservation made through Otelz was canceled on May 22, 2026, after the hotel contacted me directly and explained that they were canceling reservations made through Otelz because they were not receiving payments from the platform. Based on this situation, I canceled my reservation as instructed and was informed that the $163 I had paid would be refunded.

For this cancellation, I was given cancellation reference No. 5636087. I later contacted Otelz customer service, where I was again assured that my refund would be processed. However, despite the time that has passed, no refund has been credited to my account.

For approximately the past week, I have repeatedly tried to contact Otelz customer service, but I have been unable to reach anyone because my calls go unanswered. As a result, I have received neither my refund nor any explanation regarding the delay.

I request the immediate refund of the $163 associated with cancellation reference 5636087. I also request a clear written explanation regarding the reason for the refund delay and why Otelz customer service has been unreachable throughout this process.
