Otelz Canceled My Booking but Hasn’t Refunded Me for 16 Days

Dear Otelz Representative,
I’m writing regarding my reservation (No. 5539871) dated June 1, 2025, which was canceled by your team. I was immediately informed that the amount I paid would be refunded to my credit card. However, it has now been 16 days since the cancellation, and I still haven’t received any refund.
Throughout this process, your customer service representatives have repeatedly told me that the refund would be completed within 7 to 14 days. That timeline has passed, and yet I’ve seen no progress, no refund, and no further communication.
Due to the lack of refund, my card limit was affected during my vacation. On the due date, my bank automatically processed the pending amount as a cash advance—causing me to incur unnecessary interest charges. When I contacted my bank, they confirmed that Otelz has not yet completed the refund or finalized the transaction in their system.
At this point, I demand a clear explanation on:
Why the refund still hasn’t been processed,
Why the 14-day timeline was exceeded, and
What exactly is still pending in your accounting system.
I expect the refund to be completed immediately so that this issue doesn’t continue to impact me financially. If this matter is not resolved at once, I will be forced to initiate legal action to recover the amount and associated costs.
Please consider this an official notice and take urgent steps to process my refund. I expect a prompt resolution.
