Opel Damaged My Turbo Hose at 50K Km and Ignored My Loss
A common, chronic issue experienced by thousands—as you'll see if you search online—has now happened to me as well. The turbo hose of my Opel vehicle, which has only 50,000 km on it and has always been serviced at an authorized Opel service center, tore at the connection point without any external interference. Although it's clearly a design or engineering flaw, Opel customer service refused to resolve my issue. While I was already frustrated and disappointed with Opel for wasting my time, their refusal to acknowledge this defect truly left me speechless. After this experience, Opel is no longer a brand I will consider. I genuinely expected them to apologize and replace the hose free of charge, since that would be the bare minimum response for a problem caused by their own fault. Instead, I encountered an unprecedented level of negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction. My wife and I were planning to buy another Opel, but now we’ll sell our current vehicle as soon as possible—at a loss if necessary—and choose another brand. I will also make sure to share this disappointing and absurd experience with everyone.
