New Opel Crossland Lane Departure Woes! Unresolved After 45 Days in Service
Dear Opel I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received after purchasing an Opel Crossland from your dealership in Balıkesir. Despite only driving the vehicle for a mere 800 km, I encountered a significant issue regarding lane departure, which has severely impacted my driving experience and overall satisfaction with the product. Upon encountering this issue, I promptly brought the vehicle to your service center on multiple occasions. However, each time I left the car for inspection and repair, I was met with prolonged waiting periods of no less than 5 days. Initially, your technicians conducted routine checks such as wheel balancing and tire replacement, but the issue persisted. Subsequently, they requested further testing by sending the wheels and tires for examination, yet no conclusive resolution was reached. Throughout this ordeal, I repeatedly requested a replacement vehicle, but unfortunately, my requests were denied, adding to my frustration and inconvenience. Over the course of the 4 to 5 months since purchasing the vehicle, it has spent a total of at least 45 days in your service center, significantly impacting my ability to enjoy the benefits of owning a new car. Moreover, this prolonged and unresolved issue has not only affected my comfort and enjoyment but has also raised concerns about the reliability and future performance of the vehicle. Given the persistent nature of the problem and the substantial inconvenience it has caused me, I am left with no choice but to consider the vehicle defective and explore legal options for resolution. I urge Opel to stand behind their products, prioritize customer satisfaction, and take the necessary steps to address this matter promptly and effectively. I expect a timely response and a satisfactory resolution to this issue, as it is imperative for upholding Opel's reputation for quality and customer service. Sincerely, İsmail Ec**
They delivered the vehicle and said that they had reported the problem to the headquarters, and that there was no issue with the tire, rim, alignment, or balance of the vehicle. The headquarters will conduct the necessary investigation and reach a conclusion; we will wait for the result.
Yesterday, I received a call from the authorized Opel service, and they said that the current situation is normal. They mentioned that it is normal for the car to veer to the right when I keep my hands straight on the steering wheel, and that I will need to constantly steer to the left to correct it. Selling a defective vehicle and then reaching such a conclusion does not befit the Opel brand. My car does not go straight, and you cannot say that this is a normal situation according to technical data.
