Obilet Ticket Misleading Service Type Different Vehicle Provided
I purchased a ticket through Obilet for an Uludağ bus service on April 26, 2025, for the İzmir–Balıkesir route. While booking, the trip was clearly listed as a small vehicle service, but on the day of travel, a large vehicle was assigned instead.
Because the vehicle was larger, the journey took longer than expected, and the reason given was “traffic congestion.” The onboard supervisor, M****** T*****, stated that this practice is legally acceptable. My PNR number is 22343872.
Despite contacting the company through Obilet, I have not received any response, explanation, or follow-up. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
I expect that the service provided should match what was sold. Passengers should not be misled in this way. If a small vehicle is advertised, then an appropriate vehicle should actually be assigned. I request that necessary measures be taken to prevent this from happening again and that accurate and transparent information be provided to passengers in future bookings.
