My 2024 Nissan Qashqai Sky Pack Horn Malfunctioned and I Was Charged for Repairs

In October 2024, I purchased a brand-new Nissan Qashqai Sky Pack 2024, and after just 1,500 km, the vehicle's horn started blaring on its own at 1:00 AM. The malfunction caused a huge disturbance, with neighbors thinking someone was trapped in the elevator. They came down to the closed parking area, took photos of my car, and even posted in the residential group asking whose vehicle was causing the noise. Despite presenting these photos and group messages as evidence, the service center made me pay for the repair costs.

I’m not concerned about the financial aspect, but what if this malfunction had led to a fire or irreversible consequences? The service center dismissively stated, “Photos aren’t enough; a live video might have helped.” This response is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability and respect from Nissan.

I will pursue all my legal rights. Nissan has proven to be an unreliable brand for me, and I no longer trust their service or vehicles. I demand a full explanation and reimbursement for the repair costs.

No official has responded. Although it was proven that the problem was caused by the vehicle, I was unfairly charged.
