On September 20, 2025, at 14:07, I purchased a pair of Nike children’s shoes from FLO Retail and Marketing Inc. at Diyarbakır Forum Shopping Mall, under receipt number 0008, for my son to wear at kindergarten. The shoe product code is 197863539072. The shoes were used only inside the kindergarten and were never worn outdoors. Despite this limited and appropriate use, within four months the front parts of the shoes began to separate, the stitching became visible, the sides tore, and the printed text and logo areas peeled off. I specifically chose a Nike product at this price point ($74) expecting long-lasting, problem-free use, so seeing the shoes deteriorate this badly in such a short time was extremely disappointing. Since we live in Şırnak and the nearest store is in Diyarbakır, we had to travel there and applied to the Diyarbakır FLO store on January 25, 2026. Photos of the product were taken and it was sent for inspection, but my application with inspection code fp260125-722-0349687 was rejected. When I requested a second review on January 30, 2026, a re-evaluation was carried out under inspection code fp260128-181-0354460, and the result was again negative. I do not find it acceptable that a children’s shoe used only inside a kindergarten for a relatively short period of time would wear out this severely, nor do I accept receiving negative results in two separate inspections despite these clear conditions. I request that FLO resolve my grievance and carry out a fair evaluation that properly considers the actual usage conditions of the product.

On 20.09.2025, at 14:07, I purchased a pair of Nike children's shoes from FLO Retail and Marketing Inc. located in Diyarbakır Forum Shopping Mall (receipt no: 0008) for my son to wear at kindergarten. The shoe's product code is 197863539072, and I paid 3,199 TRY by card. The shoes were used only inside the kindergarten and never worn outdoors.

Nevertheless, after roughly four months of use, the front parts of the product opened up, the seams became visible, the sides ripped, and the lettering and Nike logo areas peeled off. Even though I chose a high‑quality brand like Nike and a product in this price range specifically to use it trouble‑free for a long period, its deterioration in such a short time has left me seriously disappointed.

Since we live in Şırnak and the nearest store is in Diyarbakır, we had to travel to the Diyarbakır FLO store on 25.01.2026 to file a complaint. Photos of the product were taken and an investigation was opened under record number fp260125-722-0349687, but I was informed that the result was negative. When I requested a re‑examination on 30.01.2026, a new review was conducted under code fp260128-181-0354460 and the second investigation also resulted in a negative decision.

I find it unacceptable that a child's shoes, used only inside kindergarten and for a short period, wear out in this manner and that both investigations yielded negative responses. I request FLO to consider the usage conditions and the rapid failure of the product, to remedy my grievance by either replacing the shoes with a new pair or, if that is not possible, refunding the 3,199 TRY I paid, i.e., to resolve my issue with a fair assessment.

Even though we have submitted the invoice to the company and provided the requested photos, we still have not received any response. Since this situation violates my consumer rights, I am informing you that I will pursue this matter through the consumer arbitration board (consumer dispute authority).
