On February 14, 2025, I purchased a pair of Nike Air Max 270 sneakers from the Nike store in Panora Mall. Despite using them carefully and only for casual wear, the inner mesh lining ripped severely within just two months.
I take great care of my shoes, and such early damage clearly points to either poor material quality or a manufacturing defect. I returned the product to the store and requested an inspection under warranty, confident that the issue would be recognized and resolved fairly.
Unfortunately, I was sent a message stating that Nike does not consider the product faulty, and my request for a refund or replacement was rejected. This decision is completely unacceptable. There is no way this kind of defect is due to user error after such limited, careful use. A rip in the interior lining in such a short time frame should qualify as a defective product, or “ayıplı mal” under consumer protection laws.
I am formally requesting that Nike either refunds the full amount I paid or provides a brand-new replacement pair. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the brand, and unless resolved properly, I will not be purchasing from Nike again. I expect immediate action.
