I bought my Nike Air Max 270 on February 14, 2024, from an official Nike store. I chose this model because I loved the design and trusted Nike’s reputation for quality. But just over a year later, the upper part of the shoe ripped. I took it back to the store to report the issue, only to be told that the warranty had expired one month ago—and that there was nothing they could do.
Really? Is that all the durability Nike offers? I could’ve bought a pair of shoes from a street market and had them last just as long. It’s incredibly disappointing that a brand with such a strong image would hide behind a technicality instead of standing by its product.
I’m not just frustrated—I feel let down. I bought these shoes with confidence, assuming Nike would have my back if something went wrong. But clearly, the support ends the moment the warranty date passes, no matter how legitimate the complaint is.
