Mytrip Charged Me Multiple Fees Despite Buying a Flexible Ticket

I purchased round-trip airline tickets from Istanbul to Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus through Mytrip for travel with AJet. I specifically chose and paid for a flexible ticket because I wanted the ability to make changes if necessary.

Unfortunately, my child was involved in a traffic accident, and due to this unexpected situation, I needed to change my travel dates. On May 7, 2026, I contacted Mytrip and requested that my ticket be moved to a date after the end of the travel season. Despite having purchased a flexible ticket, I was asked to pay a change fee that was nearly equal to the value of the original ticket I had canceled.

Later, during the period leading up to June 3, 2026, I contacted Mytrip again and requested another date change for a later travel date. During this conversation, I was quoted a fee that was approximately half of the amount previously requested. I paid that fee in good faith. However, after the payment was made, I was informed that an even higher amount would be required. Throughout the entire process, I was unable to receive clear, consistent, or helpful information regarding the actual cost of changing my reservation.

The constantly changing fees and contradictory information have caused significant frustration and financial hardship. I purchased a flexible ticket specifically to avoid this type of situation, yet I have repeatedly been asked to pay additional charges that seem inconsistent and unreasonable. Given the circumstances involving my child's accident and the fact that I paid for a flexible fare, I do not believe these repeated and increasing fees are justified.

I request that Mytrip review my case, take into consideration the payments I have already made, and reissue my ticket for a future travel date without requiring any further charges. I also request that the additional fees imposed during this process be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to resolve the financial and emotional hardship I have experienced.

I expect a fair resolution, transparent communication, and a customer-focused approach consistent with the flexibility that was promised when I purchased the ticket.
