On January 13, 2026, I paid approximately $1 on MyIQ.com to receive the results of an online IQ test. After this transaction, I was enrolled as a member of the site without my knowledge or explicit consent. On January 27, 2026, at 12:39 AM, I noticed that an additional $38 was charged to my card. I did not create any membership, I did not log back into the site, and I do not have any membership number.
During this process, I received no notification. A membership was created without my approval, and a significant amount of money was withdrawn from my card. The last four digits of the card used for payment are 6678. I contacted my bank regarding this transaction, and they informed me that a process has been initiated, but they could not provide clear information about whether a refund will be issued.
I am requesting the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized membership and a full refund of the $38 that was improperly charged to my card (excluding the initial $1 payment). I also request written confirmation and detailed information regarding the handling of this matter.
