MyIQ Auto-Charged My Card Without Clear Approval

160

On January 22, 2026, I signed up only to view my IQ test results and paid approximately $1 as directed by the system. My sole purpose was to see my test results. I did not intend to purchase any subscription or sign up for recurring payments. After completing the payment, I received an email mentioning a subscription, but I did not take it seriously because I never knowingly or willingly approved any subscription.

On January 29, 2026, when I checked my bank account, I saw that approximately $38 had been charged to my card without my knowledge or authorization. This charge was neither clearly disclosed to me nor properly approved by me. I believed I was only paying about $1 for the test result, so seeing this much larger amount withdrawn from my card without permission has caused me serious financial distress.

Although I attempted to contact MyIQ, I have not received any response. Due to this unauthorized transaction, I am requesting that the amount charged to my card—approximately $38, excluding the initial $1 test fee—be fully refunded to me.
