I purchased the 10-night Agean & Adriatic cruise with MSC Splendida, departing from Istanbul on July 6 & October 13, 2023, for our honeymoon. Writing this during the tour, everything is an extra cost, given the ever-changing Euro rates. Despite promises of Turkish assistance during excursions, no help was provided.
To top it off, at Atina, they made us wait for 2.5 hours during visa control, stealing precious time from our tour. Onboard, it's a constant rush. The pools are tiny and overly crowded, with sunbeds always taken. If you don't go early, finding a spot is impossible. Eating areas get packed, and sometimes we had to stand to eat. The elevators are a disaster, always full, forcing us to use the stairs.
We received no information about beverage packages, and when we decided to buy, they informed us we could only purchase for a minimum of 7 days and not within the first 2 days. My first cruise experience turned sour thanks to Msc. Thanks a lot, MSC!
