MSC Divina Cruise: Poor Treatment and Rude Service
We embarked on our first cruise with MSC Divina from Izmir on August 19, 2024, with high expectations, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. If Turkish passengers are going to be ignored, why does MSC even accept bookings from Turkey? The food was terrible, and when we tried to book a tour, the Turkish staff were disrespectful, advising us not to bother with Santorini (one even said, “I went once, and I’ll never go again”). Of course, we wanted to explore Santorini with a guided tour, but no information or options were provided. We ended up wandering around on our own, clueless, and had to climb Santorini by donkey with our 6-year-old, only to later learn there was a boat service that wasn’t mentioned! To make matters worse, at the à la carte restaurant, a waiter threw a napkin at us, which happened to other Turkish guests as well. Across the ship, staff were rude, and we were treated with disrespect. This is unacceptable, and MSC needs to address the poor treatment and service provided to Turkish passengers.
