We are on the final day of our MSC Divina cruise, booked through Jolly Tur, departing from Izmir with stops at the Greek Islands and Italy. Unfortunately, the experience has been far below our expectations.
First, the cruise seems designed entirely for Italians, with little regard for the comfort of other nationalities. The food quality is very disappointing, comparable to a 4-star hotel in Alanya. At breakfast and lunch, expect long lines and a struggle to find a table. One day, it took me an hour just to get a cold, unappetizing hamburger.
The pools are extremely small and overcrowded, leading to unsanitary conditions. I didn’t dare swim in them, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to risk getting sick. On a positive note, the beverage package included a decent selection of drinks, but you’ll need to wait in long lines at the bar due to the high demand.
I’ll save my comments on the activities and overall cruise management for another day, but overall, this has been a disappointing and frustrating experience. MSC, please take action to improve these aspects for future travelers.
