Motorola MBP21 Baby Monitor Not Connecting and Making Beeping Noise

We received a Motorola MBP21 baby monitor as a gift for our baby, but we couldn’t even use it. The audio doesn’t work—it just keeps making a constant “beep” sound. The parent unit cannot establish a connection at all.

This product makes no sense. It was a gift, and I don’t have any paperwork. I even opened it up thinking I could fix it myself, but it was useless. I’m throwing it away—it’s basically trash. Honestly, I didn’t expect this from Motorola, a brand known for communication devices.
