Miele Boost CX1 Disappoints: Poor Performance and Misleading Service

I purchased the “Boost CX1 Cat & Dog Powerline Obsidian Black - Bagless Vacuum Cleaner” directly from the official Miele website on September 26, 2024. We started using it around mid-October. From the very beginning, the suction power was extremely weak — nothing like what is shown in promotional videos or reviews. After some time, we took the vacuum to an authorized service center. The technicians admitted the suction power was poor, but neither a replacement nor a refund was offered. In fact, they initially requested payment for a service process and later, as if doing me a favor, offered to waive the cost while sending the machine back without fixing the real issue. They even falsely claimed that the warranty had expired — although the product is clearly still under warranty. Initially, they diagnosed a clogged filter and acknowledged this as the source of the issue. However, once we demanded a refund, they suddenly changed the narrative, stating that we had let water into the device — an excuse clearly intended to avoid responsibility. This is an unacceptable customer experience from a brand that claims to represent premium quality. I deeply regret choosing Miele. A reputable company should stand behind its products. Unfortunately, this experience has been frustrating, misleading, and disappointing from start to finish.

You did not offer any solution. You also did not contact me.

You did not contact me without me calling. You closed the case because we requested a product replacement. Even though we requested a machine replacement, you closed the file and did not send the machine either. I deeply regret buying a product from here. The process will continue with an application to Consumer Rights.
