Michelin Primacy 4 Tires Cracked After Minimal Use
In October 2023, I purchased a vehicle equipped with Michelin Primacy 4 tires. However, I noticed significant cracks and peeling on the tires, as shown in the attached images. I contacted Renault, the vehicle’s manufacturer, to address this issue, but my claim was rejected, citing “user error.”
This explanation is unacceptable, as the damaged area clearly shows no signs of misuse, such as impact or scraping. I have also heard similar complaints about the sidewalls of Michelin tires, and unfortunately, I am now experiencing the same problem.
This was my first experience with Michelin tires, and it will certainly be my last. I will not recommend this brand to anyone unless this issue is resolved promptly. I expect Michelin to take responsibility for this manufacturing defect and provide a replacement or suitable compensation.
