I Face Cracks on My Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tires Despite Normal Use and Warranty Coverage

In 2024, I purchased four Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires for my vehicle from Gimat. Over time, cracks developed on three of the tires — measuring 10 cm, 5 cm, and 4 cm in length, located about 1 cm above the rim edge. One of the tires even developed two separate cracks. I discovered these issues when my car went in for maintenance on September 1 and immediately contacted the store where I bought them. The tires were sent for inspection, but I was told that the issue was due to user error, and my claim was rejected.
The tires were flawless at installation, and the cracks appeared gradually over time. I drive a Mercedes, and the car is used under normal driving conditions, both in the city and on highways. Experiencing such a defect on premium tires has been extremely disappointing. All tires are still under warranty, and I paid a total of ₺22,500. Unfortunately, both the product quality and the dealer’s response have been very unsatisfactory.
I no longer believe Michelin maintains its former quality standards, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the handling of this issue. I request that Michelin and the distributor take responsibility and replace the defective tires or refund the full amount to resolve this situation fairly.
