Michelin Primacy 4+ Tire Developed a Large Tear and Warranty Denied

In March 2023, I purchased a Michelin 215/65/17 Primacy 4+ tire. Shortly after, a large tear, approximately 17-18 cm in length, appeared on the tire, as shown in the attached image. Had I not noticed it in time, this defect could have caused a serious accident, endangering me and my family.
Acknowledging that defects can happen, I submitted the tire for warranty evaluation, only to have my claim denied as "user error." I fail to understand how I could have caused such a significant tear. Even if I had driven over something sharp, the damage would not have exceeded 1-10 cm in length. Case number 04531160 with Michelin dismissed my claim without any resolution, leaving the tire completely unusable.
I have always trusted Michelin and used their products on all my vehicles, but this experience has left me feeling abandoned as a customer. Despite paying a premium for what I believed was superior quality, I was left unsupported. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board and plan to share my experience on social media to ensure others are aware of the poor warranty service. I expect Michelin to address this issue promptly.
