Mercedes-Benz EQB Safety Concern After Hood Opens Despite No Visible Damage

About ten days ago, while driving my Mercedes-Benz EQB at a low speed of approximately 30 km/h, I made contact with a dog. As a result of this contact, although there was no impact, dent, or visible damage to the bodywork or hood of the vehicle, the hood unexpectedly opened from its hinges. The dog was not injured, and there was no collision-related damage to the vehicle; however, I have not received a satisfactory explanation as to why the hood opened in this manner. Following this incident, my request for the issue to be evaluated under warranty was rejected by Mercedes-Benz headquarters, and the damage was processed through my insurance. As a result, a $910 insurance (Tramer) record was created, and I formally object to this record.
I consider the hood opening from its hinges—despite the absence of body damage or collision impact—to be a serious safety and manufacturing issue, and I do not accept that this situation should be classified as user fault or treated as normal damage. I have also spoken with the authorized service center in Çorlu, and I have held multiple discussions with Mercedes-Benz headquarters, customer service, and the insurance company; however, I have not received any satisfactory solution or explanation. I find it especially unacceptable for a corporate brand that my email inquiries have received no response at all, whether positive or negative. My vehicle’s license plate number is 34 M** 272. I request that this incident involving the hood opening be reinvestigated thoroughly and impartially, that any safety- or manufacturing-related defect be covered under warranty, and that the insurance claim be canceled accordingly so that the $910 Tramer record is corrected. I kindly ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
