Media Markt Refuses Warranty Service for My KitchenAid Mixer Purchased in Berlin


I bought an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition from Media Markt in Hamburg, Germany. Before purchasing, I contacted Media Markt Turkey to inquire about the international warranty for products bought abroad and if it covered technical failures. I was assured that the product had a one-year warranty under Media Markt. However, after receiving the Kindle in Turkey, I noticed a pixel flash on the screen. I took it to the Marmara Forum Media Markt branch for replacement. Two weeks later, I was informed that the technical service found no fault, and I needed to show the issue in person. Surprisingly, I was told that since the product was purchased abroad, it must be sent back to the country of purchase for replacement. This information wasn't provided by customer service, and I was offered a screen replacement at my expense. When I asked for internal guidelines on this policy, I was redirected to customer service, ending the discussion. Upon following their advice and requesting a screen replacement, I learned that despite the Kindle's arrival, the screen wasn't replaced. According to technical service, the pixel flare was deemed too small for replacement, measuring less than 0.4 mm. I'm puzzled about the criteria for screen replacement and the regulations governing them. I seek clarification and assistance from Media Markt Turkey.
