I recently purchased a Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner from the Media Markt store in Gebze Center mall. The sales representative suggested that I purchase insurance to cover any potential damages that may occur during use. However, when the charger's tip broke a few days ago while in use, I requested a free repair under the insurance policy we purchased, but was told that accessories were not covered. This incident has made me unsatisfied with Media Markt's services, as I have always relied on them for my electronic purchases. It is concerning that they mislead their customers into believing that insurance covers all parts of the product when, in fact, accessories are not covered. As a result, I advise customers to be cautious when making purchases at Media Markt and to carefully read the terms of any insurance policies offered. This experience has also highlighted the need for greater transparency and clarity in the terms and conditions of electronic product insurance policies. Offering insurance policies that do not provide comprehensive coverage is unacceptable, especially when customers rely on these policies for peace of mind and protection.
