I bought five lipsticks from Maybelline’s official store as a gift for my fiancée, expecting high performance and long-lasting wear. These lipsticks came in the brand’s own packaging with a proper invoice, so I have no doubt they are authentic. But despite being marketed as long-wear formulas, they fade completely within just 3 hours of application.
This is incredibly disappointing, especially from a brand with a reputation like Maybelline’s. I honestly expected better. The formulas feel weak, and the staying power is nothing like what was promised.
At this point, I don’t even want to use them anymore. I’m asking Maybelline to allow me to send the products back for testing. I want to understand why a set of lipsticks sold as long-lasting fails to perform as advertised. This has been a huge letdown, and I hope the brand will take responsibility and investigate this issue properly.
