To Kotak Mahindra Bank, I hold a savings account with your bank at the Mayur Vihar Phase 1, New Delhi branch. While submitting a withdrawal request, I mistakenly entered an incorrect account number in my ID. Instead of my correct 10-digit account number, I entered an 11-digit number and unfortunately did not notice the error at that time.
On April 5, 2026, I placed a withdrawal request for ₹50,000, and on April 6, 2026, at around 17:03:49, the transaction status was marked as completed. However, I have not received the amount because the account number recorded in the request was incorrect. My correct account number is 3646957181, but due to my mistake, I entered 36646957181. I contacted my branch and confirmed with the manager that this incorrect account number does not exist and is not active. Despite this, the withdrawal still shows as completed, while the amount has not been credited to my correct account.
This is my formal complaint and request to Kotak Mahindra Bank. I ask that you urgently investigate this issue, reverse the incorrect transaction, and credit the ₹50,000 to my correct account number 3646957181 at the earliest. I look forward to a prompt resolution. Thank you.
