Lufthansa Refused Full Refund After Flight Canceled Due to Green Card Expiry

On September 21, 2025, my Lufthansa return flight from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) was canceled about a month ago because my Green Card had expired. My reservation code is 895YJZ. I had paid a total of $1,250 + $150 for the ticket via credit card.

After the cancellation, I emailed Lufthansa Customer Service, but I never received a response. Only $50 was refunded to me as airport taxes, while the rest of the ticket amount was rejected.

I request that at least half of the total ticket amount be refunded, since the ticket was never used. I kindly ask that this issue be reviewed and my grievance resolved as soon as possible.
