Lufthansa Charged Me for Extra Tickets I Did Not Buy and Blocked My Funds
On February 16, I purchased two tickets from Lufthansa for two people. Despite buying only two tickets and receiving a transaction confirmation from my bank for the amount corresponding to these two tickets, Lufthansa's system shows five reservations. While the payment for two of these reservations has been completed, my bank account remains blocked for the remaining three tickets. I did not receive a verification code or approve any additional transactions, yet I have been experiencing this issue for the past eight days. Due to this block, I am unable to use my bank account or pay my credit card bill. Lufthansa has placed a hold on funds for tickets I never purchased, and the company's representatives have done nothing but tell me to wait. As a result, I am now facing late fees on my credit card payment, and I request that Lufthansa cover these additional costs.
